Tess Corbel

Tess Corbel is an autistic writer from Melbourne, Australia.

She writes commercial women’s fiction, fantasy, science fiction and gothic fiction. Her writing focuses on women’s desire, power, and the lengths they will go to get what want, as seen in her award-winning short story ‘Aviary.’

Tess holds a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing. She has turned her Masters assessment into a commercial women’s fiction manuscript, The Undertaker Orchid.

Her current project is a fantasy novel titled Dusk and Shiver, which draws on Arthurian and Celtic legends and imagery.

When not writing or working through her TBR list, Tess makes collage art, travels wherever she can, and spends time with her husband and daughter.
